Support groups
“Never been to therapy, no idea what its about”. “Its not for me”. “Partner told me to go, so Im here, even if I dont want to”. “I just need to work with one specific thing”.
Starting therapy is a very personal, demanding and exhausting process, so its no wonder that some people are uncertain if its even for them, or if they will find what they’re looking for in it. Especially for them we have prepared these low cost, low intensity groups - in here you can just come, share what's on our mind and learn a few interesting things about how our mentality works and what can we do to improve it.
After, whether you decide you want to dig deeper or try something else, no one will judge you - what matters for us is that you get better, and you decide where and how you do just that.
An hour of entry level group costs £7.50 (monthly total: £60, two hours per week).
*Groups are sized 10-12 people.

Group therapy
The main difference between a group therapy and a 1 to 1 is that its cheaper, sometimes more effective and it can more often than not result in having friends for life. In standard, 1:1 therapy the Client heals because its the therapist that provides them with a different point of view, helping to move on.
In group therapy the counselor is still present, making sure everyone follows the healing process and providing psychoeducation, but the different perspective and emotional support also comes from other participants.
People are often reluctant to try, thinking they will be in room with strangers, but that quickly turns the other way around - they find that supportive, non-judgemental strangers with similar problems very quickly turns into understanding friends.
An hour of group therapy costs £15 (monthly total: £120, two hours per week).
*Groups are sized 5-6 people.

Questions About Our Support
Our services are priced £50/h of individual therapy (£200 per month for 4 hours), £15/h for group therapy (120 per month for 8 hours) and £7.50 for entry level group (60 per month for 8 hours).
It takes 3 years minimum to become a psychotherapist, 5 years to become a specialist. 60% of what you pay goes towards counsellors salary, 30% goes towards admin and framework (that person you speak to outside of sessions and that email address you can contact when something goes wrong), and 10% goes towards overheads (insurance, professional fees, training costs etc.).
Also, if you think we’re expensive that can only mean you have not seen the commercial rates for mental health services :)
We understand how important communication is when discussing personal challenges. Our support is currently available in English, Polish and Ukrainian.
We understand people might have had bad experiences with therapists, so we put extra care in who we work with. We only cooperate with people who have finished reputable schools and are members of accredited professional bodies - fully insured, well trained therapists.
We would like to answer with “nothing”, but its not entirely true. We will not chase you or try to enforce anything, as we are a charity and we believe in approaching people with kindness. But please take notice that if you stop to work with us, it means that you still need to work through your stuff - but maybe someplace else. So please make sure that even if our joint road has finished, you are still going somewhere healthy.
If you are unhappy with our services, we are willing to refund you. This is only applicable to group services, and only for the 1st month... In regards of individual process, establishing a connection with a therapist is a natural process, as everyone have different styles and specialties - therefore if you dont have “chemistry” with one therapist, tell us and them about it, and try a different one.
